Over N111 million allegedly recovered from INEC electoral officials as bribe to rig the Rivers state December 10,2016 legislative rerun elections

 The Nigeria Police Force said it recovered more than N111 million  from electoral officials alleged to have been bribed by Rivers state government to rig the December 10,2016 legislative rerun elections in the state.

An investigative panel set up by the Inspector-General of Police which presented its report in Abuja today said the money was recovered from 23 suspects allegedly bribed to rig the polls.

The chairman of the panel, DCP Damian Okoro disclosed that,” the sum total of N111.3 million was recovered from 23 electoral officials out of N360m.

He said that some got N15 million each while three senior electoral officers got N20 million each.

UK resumes work, study visa applications processing in Nigeria

The United Kingdom has resumed work and study visa applications processing in Nigeria. This was contained in a post by UKinNigeria on its social media handles on Wednesday. In the post, Nigerians were urged to proceed to the UK visa application centres for the Priority Visa Services. “From January 24, TLS will resume offering some Priority Visa (PV) Services in our Nigerian visa application centres. PV services will only be available to customers applying at VACs in Nigeria in work and study routes. A man has lost his p*n!s in the hands of a an Ashawo after the angry Lady used a sharp object to cut off the man’s m*****d. A Kenyan man has been left in excruciating pain after his m*****d was chopped off by a an Asahwo for refusing to pay her after passionate s*-x.   The unidentified man is now recuperating in hospital but in serious pain.
