Operation Delta Safe,’ the joint military force deployed to the Niger Delta, on Wednesday reacted to threats from the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA)  who claim that they will declare a Niger Delta Republic on August 1.

The Enugu State Police Command has arrested three people, including 18-year-old girl, identified as Ezinne for allegedly selling her 16-month-old child at the sum of N300,000.  A newborn baby was found on July 25, head down in a toilet at a gas station in Khlong Thom Khrabi, Thailand. The employees of the station who found the child called the police, who helped to bring out the newborn....a baby girl. She was taken to the hospital and is doing well. It is believed that the unidentified mother delivered the baby early that morning, dumped it inside the toilet bowl and fled.
