No fewer than seven houses have allegedly been purchased by Governor Ayo Fayose since he returned to power in 2014, sources close to the investigation of the Ekiti State helmsman have revealed. And some of them, including one worth N1.2 billion in Lagos State, were said to have had their transactions handled for Fayose by his close ally, Abiodun Agbele, who is popularly called Abbey.

A hacker said he has hacked at least 250 social media accounts of Islamic State members over the last month and swapped their content with porn and gay pride content. The hacker, who goes by the name WauchulaGhost, is waging his own war against the Islamic State by erasing reference to jihad with images that say “I [heart] porn,” and “I’m gay and I’m proud and images of nude women.

The Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos has ruled that Femi Fani-Kayode, the spokesman for the Goodluck Jonathan campaign in 2015, and Nenadi Usman, Former Finance Minister; and Danjuma Yusuf, be released on bail provided they meet the bail conditions. The case was adjourned to the 21st of October, 2016.

President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu as the group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and replaced him with Maikanti Baru. In a press statement issued today in Abuja, the president office stated that Kachikwu as the minister for State for Petroleum will now be the chairman of the Board of the NNPC.
