Sharing photos from after the surgery via social media, Julius wrote, “Exactly a month today 12 th May 2016 makes it 1 year after my brain surgery in Houston, Texas, US. Missing Law student of Ogun State university

Abiola Okanlawon has been missing for over a month now, according to a family member. He is a diploma student at Ogun State university, studying Law. His brother said; According to friends, he left school on the 2nd of April 2016 and till now we've not heard from him. Thinking he was at his friends place we felt he'll go back to school when school resumes on the 3rd of May but he hasn't and nobody knows his whereabouts. According to a statement released by the Nigerian Army this afternoon, a combined team of Nigeria policemen maintaining security duties at the entrance of Borno State Government Secretariat, (which was known as Musa Usman Secretariat) in Maiduguri, intercepted and prevented a male suicide bomber from entering to attack workers based on suspicion. Unfortunately, in the process of stopping him, he detonated the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on his body, instantly killing himself, a policeman and critically injuring another policeman that stopped him from gaining entry into the Secretariat Complex. Sadly, the injured policeman died later. Similarly, 18 people have sustained various degrees of injuries and have since been evacuated to hospital for treatment. Troops have cordoned off the area and evacuated all workers from the Secretariat and reinforced security. Lagos ‘trado medical doctor’ rapes, impregnates 26-year-old patient

A rape victim Photo: Informationng.com The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a ‘doctor’, identified only as Abiodun, for allegedly raping and impregnating a 26-year-old ulcer patient in the Ipaja Ayobo area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that Abiodun, a trado-medical doctor, who had his health centre – Damola Healthcare – on Agbaje Street, was arrested on Tuesday by the Isokoko Police Division. The Family Support Unit of the division was said to be in charge of the matter. Our correspondent gathered that the victim, Funmilayo (pseudonym), who hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, and lives two streets away from the centre, had in December 2015, gone to the place to complain about ulcer. It was learnt that Abiodun’s workers had prescribed some herbal drugs for the lady, telling her that she would pay N18,000 for comprehensive treatment. The victim reportedly deposited N10,000.
