Buhari Plans Extradition Of EX-PDP Chair Mu’azu, Ekiti Election Rigging Mastermind, Obanikoro, Abdullahi Dikko And Others

The diplomatic process that will ensure the extradition of suspected looters who have fled the country will dominate President Muhammadu Buhari’s discussions with his counterparts when 60 world leaders meet in the United Kingdom next month.                   Diezani, Muazu and Obanikoro Saturday PUNCH learnt on Friday that the President would at the summit explore ways of bringing to the country politicians who were being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. It was gathered that the outcome of the summit would speed up the extradition of individuals, including a former Minister of State for Defence, Mr. Musiliu Obanikoro;  a former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu; and a former Chairman of the Pension Reform Task Force, Abdulrasheed Maina. The flood victims in Palestine, Texas, 100 miles (160 km)southeast of Dallas, escaped a house where flood waters had reached the roof line and were then swept away by the rushing waters, Palestine police Captain James Muniz said. "They were able to get out but they were washed away," he said, adding their bodies were recovered on Saturday. The grandmother was aged 64 and the children between six and nine.

A man allegedly killed a woman as they made love - then continued to have sex with her dead body. Timothy Johnson, 25, was arrested after the decomposing body of Judith Therianos was found in woods in Tampa, Florida, earlier this month. The 52-year-old, from Maine, died from blunt force trauma, police said. Sheriff Chris Nocco told reporters Johnson allegedly killed Therianos while the two were having sex. Investigators say they believe at some point she wanted him to stop and that is when he allegedly killed her.He then continued to have sex with her corpse "for a while", the officer said. Police said during the trip, she became separate from her best friend and had not been seen since March 14. On April 7, deputies found a decomposing body in the wooded area near 6659 U.S. 19. Fingerprint analysis determined it was missing Therianos.Two days later, Johnson was arrested for her murder. There was no previous relationship between Therianos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday April 28th, arraigned the trio of Segun Osho, Roland Alozie and Abass Kolawole before Justice M.O Opara of the Rivers State High Court, Port-Harcourt on a 3-count charge of conspiracy, stealing and fraudulent conversion N9.5 million Osho and Alozie, both staff of Access Bank Plc , Moscow Road, Port Harcourt , conspired to convert an EcoBank Manager’s cheque for Nine Million, Five Hundred and Fifty Four Thousand, Two Hundred and Eighty Six Naira, (N9, 554, 286. 00) issued by Rockson Engineering Company Limited as tax remittance in favour of Rivers State Board of Internal Revenue. The said cheque was then passed to Kolawole who attempted to pay it into his personal account in Ecobank. One of the counts read: “You, Segun Osho, Rowland Alozie on or about the 26th of May, 2014 at Port Harcourt in the Port Harcourt Judicial Division of the High Court of Rivers State did conspire with one Chukwudi
