Kogi Lady Marries her 'grandfather'

Image
A picture of a 28 year old lady who wedded her 78 year old soulmate in Kogi State, has emerged with many wondering what joy she derives. Like the popular saying, age is just number but 'true love' conquers all, maybe she does not find the real love she deserves in younger guys so she went for someone who has tasted life and know what it is to care and protect a woman. The 28 year old lady was seen in tears of joy while taking her marital vow with the love of her life. Well, your opinion is allowed though. Even if the man is above 100years but well loaded with good things of life, they will marry.  With money, ladies can marry any man. True or false? Ladies in the house just say the truth, will you marry a man thrice your age?  Post your comments below

8 years old bride dies on her weding night. You can guess why.

Image
An 8 year old Yemeni child bride, recently died on her wedding night from internal hemorrhaging as a result of forced s*x. She was married to a man five times her age. As disgusting as the tradition of marrying off children to much older men is, it is common practice in Yemen. More than a quarter of the female population are married before the age of 15. This and similar cases have enraged people from all over the world who are working on stopping this barbaric tradition.  However, even though they work hard in an attempt to stop this practice, they are not finding it easy. Yemen, as an impoverished country, poor families makes profit from this practice and doesn’t plan on giving it up so easily. Poor families are basically forced to accept “bride-prices”, by which they receive about $100 for their daughters who are later sold off to be married.
