An 8 year old Yemeni child bride, recently died on her wedding night from internal hemorrhaging as a result of forced s*x. She was married to a man five times her age. As disgusting as the tradition of marrying off children to much older men is, it is common practice in Yemen. More than a quarter of the female population are married before the age of 15.

This and similar cases have enraged people from all over the world who are working on stopping this barbaric tradition.  However, even though they work hard in an attempt to stop this practice, they are not finding it easy.

Yemen, as an impoverished country, poor families makes profit from this practice and doesn’t plan on giving it up so easily. Poor families are basically forced to accept “bride-prices”, by which they receive about $100 for their daughters who are later sold off to be married.

UK resumes work, study visa applications processing in Nigeria

The United Kingdom has resumed work and study visa applications processing in Nigeria. This was contained in a post by UKinNigeria on its social media handles on Wednesday. In the post, Nigerians were urged to proceed to the UK visa application centres for the Priority Visa Services. “From January 24, TLS will resume offering some Priority Visa (PV) Services in our Nigerian visa application centres. PV services will only be available to customers applying at VACs in Nigeria in work and study routes. These services will only be available via the TLS website and can be purchased when making a VAC appointment,” the post read. A man has lost his p*n!s in the hands of a an Ashawo after the angry Lady used a sharp object to cut off the man’s m*****d. A Kenyan man has been left in excruciating pain after his m*****d was chopped off by a an Asahwo for refusing to pay her after passionate s*-x.   The unidentified man is now recuperating in hospital but in serious pain. According to The Standard, the 31 year old victim in the Rift Valley town of Nakuru some 250 kilometres north of Kenyan capital Nairobi was alleged to have picked up the Ashawo along the streets Tuesday at around 4pm and taken her to his room.
