Nigeria’s Supreme Court sitting in Abuja today dismissed an appeal brought before it by the Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state challenging the territorial jurisdiction of the election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja. Mr. Wike had appealed a decision of the Court of Appeal which earlier held that the tribunal's location was in order. In its ruling today the Supreme Court upheld the decision of the lower court on the matter of jurisdiction.   Gov. The woman in the central city of Zlitin gave birth to a set of septuplets in Zlitin Hospital, Libya. The Deputy Manager of the hospital Osama Al-Sari said that the septuplets are 6 boys and a girl weighing between 400 to 1100 grams, pointing out that the delivery surgery was carried out by three gynaecologists and one paediatrician. "The seven infants are in relatively unstable health conditions up until now because the equipment in the hospital cannot assist such cases, yet the mother’s health condition is very good."
