Consumers of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) known as cooking gas have complained about the sudden increase in the price of the commodity. The price of refilling the 12.5kg cooking gas cylinder had been between N2,500 and N3,500 for a very long time but suddenly the price had gone up to between N4,000 and N4,500, while the camping gas cylinder which was N1,500 was now N2,500.

Justice Ibrahim Buba of a Federal High Court in Lagos has barred R.T. Briscoe Nigeria Plc from accessing its funds in various commercial banks in the country over an alleged bank indebtedness of N2.5bn. Retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki has spoken up about the arms deal scandal disclosing that former President Goodluck Jonathan approved all the expenses incurred by his office. Dasuki also protested his continued detention adding that he only obeyed the directive of former President Goodluck Jonathan as dictated by civil service rules.
