The former Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Customs, Abdullahi Inde Dikko has reportedly confessed to owning properties worth $50 million in Dubai alone.

Dikko reportedly confessed this to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s investigators during an interrogation.

Recall that the anti-graft agency, EFCC, had declared the former Customs CG wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation.

Mr. Dikko who is reportedly suffering from prostrate cancer which is said to be at the terminal stage returned to the country looking frail and was said to have confessed to owning another multi-million naira farm in Katsina along with a huge house in Abuja.

An EFCC source confirmed that the agency has been careful in dealing with the ex-Customs CG based on his health status adding that he was not hurled into detention for the fear that he might die in custody which will in turn make assets recovery a harder task to perform.
