LSETF - Good news for Entrepreneurs and Job seekers in Lagos

Are you an entrepreneur that is seeking support? Do you have fantastic ideas? Well, if you are a Lagos state resident, there is very good news for you. It is simply called LSETF. If you haven’t heard about LSETF - the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, it is a fund established by the Lagos State Government to help entrepreneurs grow and create employment for people living in Lagos state.

 
In Governor Ambode’s words, “the LSETF was created to galvanize the creative and innovative energies of all Lagos residents and ultimately improve their standard of living.” It was formally inaugurated in March 2016, and over the last few weeks, people have been educated on what the fund is and how it works.

Because the LSETF is for EVERYONE who lives in Lagos, the Board has decided to ask the people of Lagos how they think the fund should be managed. They want Lagos residents to suggest how the fund should be disbursed, fairly and transparently, who should get it and why. TVC Presenter, Wale Fakile arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend

Wale Fakile, a presenter and producer with TV Continental (TVC) has reportedly been arrested for assaulting his girlfriend. Wale 'Richboy' Fakile allegedly beat her so much he left bruises on her. Activist/Co-ordinator of Walk against Rape campaign, Esther Ijewere-Kalejaiye shared the message and pictures which she received from the girl who was seeking for justice. The message read, "Dnt publish my name pls, am pass Mandy, my supposed boyfriend that works with TVC beat me yesterday to stupor with bruises all over and he said there is nothing I can do about it bcos he is rich and works with TVC and am poor."
